Oregon
Related: About this forumOk Oregoners, I'll be in Portland for 2 days this May. What should
Mrs FSogol and I should do?
I know about Powells Books and yes, we are both Foodies. What food spots, breweries, and sites should we not miss? What should we see and do? Thanks in advance.

Try some legal edibles. Then go to Voodoo...

Next, be sure to say Will-AAAA-met river, not WIL-a-met river.
After that, be sure to refer to Oregonians, not Oregoners.
Beyond that, as resident of Eugene, I only go to Portland to visit Powell's, so I have no idea what else the town might have to offer that can't already be found in Eugene.

You could walk to the top of a volcano that's inside the city.
Lovely view, from there, of downtown looking west, Mt Hood to the east and St Helens to the north.

Seeing as you're a Foodie, Portland has food cart sites galore.
Mucho taco trucks!
And ethnic delights from around the world. --> http://www.foodcartsportland.com/maps/
btw-if you plan on Voodo Donuts, go during the week.
Saturday/Sunday crowds waiting to get in are amazing.
