Carl Wolfson starts new show on 1/21/13

"The new "Carl in the Morning" will debut on Monday, January 21, to celebrate Martin Luther King, Jr. Day and President Obama's Second Inauguration.

You can stream it LIVE, 7 am to 9 am PT, from www.carlwolfson.com."

Looking forward to hearing Carl again. I've sure missed his voice in the morning.
Would love to hear him on the radio, but I guess the internets will have to do, for now. I'm getting tired of streaming different programs through TuneIn Radio. Sure wish we had progressive radio in Portland again.

There are streaming services such as Pandora and Slacker (I used to work with a lot of those that work there now) that are soon going to be built in to the newer car audio systems that will be sold that will use cellular networks to get their streams.

I think we need to get Carl and a few progressive talkers that have been shut out by these Clear Channel censorship efforts to work together and get a joint effort that can be available and easy to connect to through these newer technologies, and other devices that one can attach to existing cassette players or broadcast FM signals to along with either a smart phone or tablet. Other talkers like KLSD's Stacy Taylor, Dave Sirota who just got booted from his Denver station, and perhaps talkers like the Young Turks that might be looking for a new home when Current TV changes hands with Al Jazeera buying them I think would be served well with either their own service or working with some of these other streaming services to get "channels" on their services.

I think this sort of service might be especially important if Liberty Communications tries to play the same games that Clear Channel has been with satellite radio when they take over Sirius/XM satellite radio within a month (that unfortunately our increasingly non-progressive FCC allowed to happen recently), which could make the situation even worse.

I have some additional ideas on this subject. Message me if you are interested.
