How to replace a ballot if impacted by Portland, Vancouver ballot box fires

Multnomah County
Multnomah County Elections Director Tim Scott said only three ballots were destroyed in Monday’s fire, which happened outside of the Multnomah County Election Division office on Southeast Morrison around 3:30 a.m.

The rest of the ballots were protected by a fire suppression system in the ballot box, according to Scott.

How would you replace a ballot in Multnomah County? The county’s Elections office says to go to its website to fill out an “Order Ahead Replacement Ballot Request Form.”

In order to track the progress of your ballot, go to the Oregon Secretary of State’s voting and elections page and select “My Vote” from the options.
