In October, Trump joked that he would not have gone to Erie, Pennsylvania. He's trailing in Erie.

In October, President Trump went to Erie, Pennsylvania, and joked that he wouldn't have bothered doing so in a normal year.

"I wasn’t coming to Erie, I mean I have to be honest. There was no way I was coming."

At last check, he's trailing in Erie.

BTW I used to live just south of Erie and yes it can be nasty on a cold dark rainy night
in late October but to show up on Air Force and to complain about having to be outside
for a few minutes when the crowd of your supporters has been outside for hours was
really stupid.
