E-commerce’s Radial, which has Lehigh Valley fulfillment centers, is seeking thousands of new workers to handle seasonal rush of orders

It’s about that time, when the massive distribution centers that dot the Lehigh Valley’s landscape scale up for an expected holiday rush of online orders.
But amid a labor shortage, Radial, which handles e-commerce fulfillment for clients, wants to staff its two Easton-area locations with 10 times as many workers it currently has.
The company said in a news release Tuesday it needs more than 4,600 entry-level seasonal jobs at those sites. The jobs include pickers and packers, according to the company’s Esteban Gutierrez. Those jobs could be converted to full-time positions at Radial, which has about 400 workers during non-peak times.
