This sentence was printed on the face of the mailer I just received from the campaign of Josh Shapiro, our PA Attorney General who is running for Governor this year. The mailer has lots of interesting facts about Shapiro, his record as Attorney General, his positions on various issues, and the usual appeal for donations and campaign volunteers.

(5,203 posts)For me he is probably going to get my vote. Fetterman is also a good choice if need be. I am also hoping a Dem takes over the Senate seat Toomey now holds.

Other Democrats are declared for the Senate, including Conor Lamb. Let's make sure we choose the best candidates in our primary this spring. Because "what happens in Pennsylvania could decide the fate of our democracy."

(5,203 posts)I like Conner too but I think Fetterman is more assertive. I will have to watch the debate if they have them and you are right. Dems have to start knocking on doors all across the country and people need to dig deep in their pockets this year.

(7,334 posts)We need a strong smart Democrat in the Senate representing the Keystone state.
And no way Lt. Gov Fetterman ever becomes another Lieberman, Manchin, or Sinema.

(35,901 posts)They're both honorable men, no-bullshit Dems. Fetterman seems slightly more progressive than Lamb.
It's hard to pick a favorite but I promise I'll decide in time for the primary.
I only have one problem with Conor Lamb: we can't afford to lose his seat in the House. Too many other Dems are retiring this year and it's scary to think what might happen if the Pukes succeed in taking over the House.
