5. One year some buddies and I were watching the local fireworks display from the adjacent park. This guy was

lighting off one of those spinner jobs that take off. Usually like a paper flying saucer thing.

The fuse must have been a dud, and he gets in close to light the nub. He's leaning away from it but not enough. It takes off and gloms onto his face like an alien and spins! He went down and it looked like he may have really messed himself up, but it was just minor scorches! LOL

6. For a few years I was involved in an explosives company. They wouldn't mess with fireworks.

10. My husband use to work for the Bureau of Mines in South Park. His speciality was explosives and fireworks. He wrote the

regulations for the use. That was back in late 70s -early 80, Every year he calls as we have a neighbor that uses a cannon. to set them off. Police response ---there is nothing we can do (or want to do)
