Lycoming voting office swamped with mail-in ballots

Williamsport, Pa. — Lycoming County’s Office of Voter Services has been especially busy with the upcoming election, processing some of the county's nearly 12,000 mail-in ballots.

The Lycoming County commissioners met Thursday and discussed some of the election issues, which included making polling places handicap-accessible.
They voted to approve a change order with H&P Construction for $16,730 for ADA polling place construction at the Clinton Township Volunteer Fire Company.

At the meeting, Forrest Lehman, director of elections at Lycoming County, expressed why it was important for the fire company to have accessible facilities for voters.
