According to an analysis just released by the Department of State, voter turnout in the 2024 general election was the highest Pennsylvania has seen since at least 1988. They did not provide data going back further.
The department released a statement saying 69% of Pennsylvanias voting-aged population cast a ballot in Novembers election, the highest in at least 36 years. That includes 77% of eligible voters.
This high level of voter engagement is a testament to the voter education work done in 2024 by the Shapiro administration, county election officials across all 67 Pennsylvania counties, candidate campaigns and nonprofit organizations, Secretary of the Commonwealth Al Schmidt said in a statement. Our goal at the Department of State for every election is for every eligible Pennsylvanian to be able to cast their vote and have it counted.
Previous elections, however, have seen higher percentages of registered voters cast ballots, including in 1988 and 1992, where 77.2% and 82% of registered voters cast ballots, respectively.

(73,430 posts)Dear liberal media please tell me again on how Harris/Walz lost because the dems stayed home.
2 phases.
. Front End 4.7 millions removed from voting rolls. (Low ball figure)
Back End
. Musk and the ? and the crypto boys ? were into the vote data as it
was being counted
the central tabulators.
Trump, Musk was good with those vote counting machines

(4,099 posts)I think it was yet another of the blue precinct bomb threats on election day. And they actually also switched out two tabulators mid election day in College Township or State College, the two towns around the University.

(73,430 posts)So if Musk and company needed x amount of vote to make sure Trump won a state or county
he had x + 1 votes ready to go. And how did Musk know how many new votes would be needed?
He was into the raw voting data. And the Trump Campaign and our media were all ready to go
with already cooked up cover stories such as: the dems just didnt turn out and Harris didnt have
enough support in say the male Hispanic community (which might have been part of the problem)
but not enough to explain Trumps sweep of the swing states. Hell, from the O.P. record voter turn
out in PA.
And what happened to all the solid vote to support a womans right to her own body and health
care? 70% of Americans support choice in some form or another. After Roe was overturned pro choice won (I think) every election every place but somehow that trend was reversed in the November 24 elections?
