Johnstown Mayor Frank Janakovic (D) announces he will not seek re-election
JOHNSTOWN, Pa. – (WJAC) After three terms, Johnstown Mayor Frank Janakovic said he will not run for re-election.
Janakovic told 6 News Monday that this is his last term after serving three 4-year terms.
He took office in 2014, starting this last term in January 2022.
On Saturday, Deputy Mayor Sylvia King sent a media release announcing her campaign to be the city’s next mayor.
