Lebanon Co. hopeful more municipal election candidates go for ballot spot
LEBANON COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM) – Lebanon County is urging folks to take the leap into public service by getting their name on ballots for the 2025 Municipal Election.
The window is open for people looking to become candidates for different seats.
“You can start getting signatures if you want to run for any office in the county,” Sean Drasher, the director of elections for the county, said. “Now is the time.
Drasher says around 40 people have picked up their petition packets. There are almost 300 seats to fill in this year’s election. It’s a relatively slow start.
