Lancaster County Board of Elections begins offering at-the-counter mail-in ballots for the Special Election
LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. — On Tuesday, the Lancaster County Board of Elections began offering at-the-counter mail-in ballots for the March 25 Special Election.
Pennsylvania does not have early voting, though voters can apply for a mail-in ballot at the county's Board of Elections Office, receive and return a ballot in one in-person visit.
Voters casting mail-in ballots at the counter are encouraged to bring their Pa. driver's licenses or identification cards and completed ballot request forms with them to the Elections Office. Voters can click here to download the application.
Mail-in ballot applications for the Special Election must be received by the Board of Elections by 5 p.m. on Tuesday, March 18. Voters can return their ballots by mail to the Board of Elections during normal business hours, Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m. For the Special Election, mail-in ballots must be returned by 8 p.m. on Tuesday, March 25.
