Tina Belge (D) announces candidacy for Greenville city council, at-large seat

Tina Belge has announced her candidacy for the upcoming Greenville City Council at-large vacancy in the November 4 election.

Belge, a Democrat, has lived in Greenville since 2014. She has spent time as a director with the Greenville Housing Fund, a planner with Greenville County, and most recently, a founder of the Catalyst Community Consulting group to tackle issues pertaining to housing, communities, and policies.

In 2019, Belge ran in the March special election for Senate District 6 and will look to run a campaign to afford better opportunities for the city of Greenville.

"We live in a wonderful city with amazing amenities and has such a great quality of life," Belge said. "However, that quality of life must be maintained strategically as costs rise and growth takes hold.
