Candidates set for special election
WALHALLA — The deck is officially set for Walhalla’s upcoming special election to fill two seats on Walhalla City Council.
Five people have thrown their hat into the mix for those two seats, with one term expiring in December this year and the other expiring in December 2027. Residents inside city limits were able to file for one or the other, or both during the filing period from Feb. 7 and Tuesday, Feb. 18.
The list of candidates and which seats they filed for as of the filing closing time at noon on Tuesday are as follows:
