The Knox County District Attorneys Office said that no charges were filed against the officers involved on Feb. 21. The police video was released was released two days later. A police spokesperson said an internal administrative investigation was ongoing and the officers involved were on paid leave.
The hospital has been in contact with Ms. Edwards family and expressed our sorrow soon after their loss. Ft. Sanders investigating after woman discharged from hospital died in police custody (Original Post)

OP
She is respiratory distress...we can hear her wheezing....low oxygen will cause altered mental status....just for starters.
The hospital probably made a decision to discharge based upon insurance?????
Medical staff at the Jail should not of accepted her for the obvious clinical symptoms....call 911 and send her back to hospital is what I would of done...just saying.
