..."Grammy Award-winning singer Suzy Bogguss will reinterpret Merle Haggard classics in a June 20 concert at Ravenwood High School. Proceeds from the 7:30 p.m. concert, presented by Brentwood Morning Rotary Club, will go toward charitable efforts including school literacy programs, Habitat for Humanity, CASA, high school scholarships and Rotary International’s Polio Plus program.
On her latest studio album, “Lucky,” the CMA, ACM and Grammy Award-winning singer reinterprets Merle Haggard classics, including “Silver Wings” and “Today I Started Loving You Again,” from a female point of view.
Tickets for the annual fundraiser are $30 each and can be purchased by calling Susan Earl at 615-371-0090 ext. 8010."
