Turnout was down. There was no discernable difference in

R v D, men v women or yonger vote compared to the last two cycles.

Ya' know what? If ya' don't get off yer ass and vote you get the government you deserve.

What pisses me off is that I get the government you deserve.

how people are so lackadaisical about voting. I've never missed an election. I remember standing in line for two hours to vote for Bill Clinton and I was thrilled THRILLED to do it. Same with Obama. Now my state has mail in voting and I miss going to the polls. Anyway Im very sorry for you.

People (especially POC and other Democratic constituencies) have had to wait in long lines for several election cycles now. This is something we need to address and let people know that, because nobody wants to wait in line for hours, especially if you don't have strong feelings for any of the candidates and are just voting against the other side.

About all of this, they don't know and they don't care.

starting in the rural areas so they get other points of view. Providing some media literacy, helping them learn how badly the commercials about Beto and other Dems lied to them. Show them the truth now, maybe they won't be so susceptible next time.

Beto's loss hurts more than any of the others.

And I wonder: what will he do now?
