Been googling and cant find a firm answer about the legality of political robocalls under the new(ish) law.
Does anyone know if its legal? Im it itching to report the call to the AGs office

They are strictly illegal to cellphones unless the caller has express prior permission from the owner of that phone to call that number.
That's what they nailed Jacob Wohl on - just the illegal calls to cellphones, and they were only levied a fine of $4500 per call (it could have been MUCH higher, as allowed for by the Telephone Consumer's Protection Act.)
