"No matter what the law in Virginia says, I will not prosecute a woman for having an abortion ..."

The news out of the Supreme Court today is saddening but hardly surprising.

No matter what the law in Virginia says, I will not prosecute a woman for having an abortion, or for being suspected of inducing one.

No doctor or hospital will risk their license. That’s the problem. Medical care was just given for a very wanted baby when all amniotic fluid burst at 14 weeks. The OB/GYN said there was no chance of survival. Inova gave full care. Would it be available if a law was passed?
