Link Light Rail - Upgrades at Lynnwood City Center Station to impact escalator access beginning Dec. 2

Beginning at 8 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 2, until Dec. 23, Sound Transit will be upgrading elements of the lighting and wiring at Lynnwood City Center Station. The work will require escalators to be turned off for an estimated 8-9 days per escalator, and at times may impact walk/roll paths through portions of the station or plazas. Most the work will be conducted between 8 p.m. and 5 a.m. so as to reduce impact to passengers. Stairwells will be closed at times during these hours while scaffolding is being erected or dismantled.

Escalator closures are currently planned for the following date ranges:

Dec. 6-13: escalator at north end of station (serving Exit A) will be out of service.
Dec. 14-22: escalator at south end of station (serving Exit B) will be out of service.

This work will not impact elevator access at the station.
