Kamiak High 'clear and safe' after threat to Mukilteo school
MUKILTEO — Authorities responded Wednesday afternoon to a “vague threat” at Kamiak High School, one of several schools in the state to receive the same threat.
Mukilteo police provided little other information in a social media post at 2:45 p.m. Wednesday.
“At this time please avoid the area,” the department wrote. “We are actively working to clear the area to ensure safety. We will update as more information becomes available.”

About 20 minutes after the initial post, the department confirmed the area was “clear and safe.”
