Lockdown at White Center high school after weapons found on campus
Three people were detained at a high school in White Center by King County deputies after receiving reports that weapons were on campus.
In response to the reports, the school, Evergreen Senior High School, was put into lockdown at 9 a.m. Wednesday. Deputies then searched the school grounds, recovering two handguns.
The three people detained are believed to all be juveniles, according to the King County Sheriff’s Office. No injuries have been reported.
The school remains on lockdown.
