Crawford (D) raised $4.4 million over first month of '25, topping Schimel's (R) $2.7 million
Susan Crawford announced today she’s raised more than $4.4 million over the last month for her state Supreme Court campaign, topping the $2.7 million that conservative rival Brad Schimel says he brought in over the period.
Crawford’s campaign said she’s now raised more than $7.3 million since getting into the race last year and had more than $3 million in the bank as of Feb. 3.
Meanwhile, Schimel’s campaign says he’s now topped the $5 million mark in his bid for the court. He didn’t release his cash on hand number.
Crawford received $1 million in transfers from the state Dem Party last year. Her campaign didn’t disclose whether any of the $4.4 million raised between Jan. 1 and Feb. 3 came from the party.
Crawford said her overall fundraising and her haul for the pre-primary period are records for a Supreme Court campaign. Two years ago, liberal Janet Protasiewicz raised $725,333 in the pre-primary period. She had raised $1.65 million overall to that point.
