Crawford (D) Campaigns in Superior days ahead of spring election

With less than a week to go before Wisconsinites head to the polls, Democratic-backed Supreme Court Candidate Judge Susan Crawford made a stop in Superior on March 26, as part of a statewide tour.

During her brief remarks, she spoke on the importance of the race – saying she believes it’s about the it’ll have long term impacts, especially on the rights of those across the state.

“This really is about the future of our state, for our kids and grandkids, and about all of our fundamental rights and freedoms. And women’s rights certainly is one important issue, but our fair elections, the ability to exercise the right to vote, just generally making sure we have a court system that’s doing the job of forcing the courts to be a check and balance.” Crawford said in an interview with WDIO.

Meanwhile, her opponent, GOP-backed Judge Brad Schimel, visited the Green Bay area on the same day. Campaigning along side former Governor Scott Walker. During an interview with affiliate station WBAY, Schimel spoke on the importance of having an independent court.
