denied. Aylan's dad was the younger brother there was no application for their family. Teema Kurdi planned to make the application for them after the older brother's family was in Canada but because that application was denied nothing more happened.

The media got the story wrong as to who the application was for and Teema Kurdi corrected the misinformation yesterday in a heartrending interview yesterday.

The Harper government's refugee policy when it comes to middle east refugees is appalling and anti-muslim, giving favoritism to christian minorities in terms of approval of applications, imo.
