They have had unseasonably hot temperatures. Usually BC is a temperate rainforest climate. Not anymore. We have had all their rain in central canada this summer. Thanks climate change. And those that support climate change on the right. (You are either against climate change or for it at this point).

(20,608 posts)the interior of B.C. is usually hot and dry. Great fruit growing country, but places like Lillooet, Osoyoos, Kelowna and Kamloops get tinder dry during many summers.
That said, things are pretty bad right now. Fortunately, the rest of the country is having a below-average fire season so there are lots of firefighters available to assist in B.C.

(123,448 posts)And we were going to get BC's rain. I guess they meant the coastal BC rain. And for sure we have it. The trees here are so over leafed and lush. Vibes to one and all.

(20,608 posts)It's interesting to note that the crazy weather doesn't recognize borders either, of course. In Seattle, they endured something like three straight months of cloudy days and periodic rain during the spring. It was, not surprisingly, very depressing for a lot of residents. However, Seattle reportedly hasn't had a drop of rain over the past month or so. A dramatic change of fate.
