Andrew Scheer brings up Quebec Separation on last day of the campaign

Last edited Mon Oct 21, 2019, 01:18 AM - Edit history (2)

in Canada. He antagonized Bloc Quebecois supporters. Is this to get seperatists in quebec agitated so they get out and vote for the BQ in the federal election. Alberta premier Kenny started the election invoking Alberta Separatism. What is with the Americans who advise the Conservatives? Can't they find anything to scare canadians that does not involve separation? We know the wedge issue they imposed on canada (abortion and gun humpers) just piss off canadians and divide the right in canada. So this is all they got? Risky play to get BQ going to the polls to reduce liberal chances and give conservatives the win. BQ is liking the attention.

and BQ, if the liberals win a minority government. If Scheer wins a minority the NDP will play an important role in defeating his government some day soon. I'm voting Liberal.

You guys are lucky that Scheer is such a lightweight ..If the Conservatives had elected a more charismatic Leader, they might have been able to a form a minority government .. Stephen Harper was a repulsive Prime Minister

So they are here but make up just an over-representative-online tiny bit of the population. We get lots of american news on canadian news shows and they are not fox newslike. They are real news shows. So we have learned from your tragedy.

I think he's more likely to hurt himself doing that than to do any lasting damage to Trudeau's Liberals. He may even push the Liberals into a slim majority.
