One of my boys is in Montreal right now. Going to Japan in late spring. Feeling uneasy.

Transmission happens before symptoms appear. Planes will be full of sick people.
This is going to a nightmare before it passes.

Japan was really serious about stopping spreading of illnesses. He had confidence in the system. Is your son at McGill?

We have a large Chinese Canadian population in the lower mainland.

It will soon jump from people coming back from that part of China to others. People are aware and the test is really quick. I think richer countries have the ability to shut down an outbreak. I worry if it got to africa or south america. So far they have no cases. Crossing my fingers it doesn't happen there.
