(24,259 posts)I have close family and friends up there and there are certainly a good bunch of people who don't take the precautions they should (some are family of mine who post maskless pictures ) or refuse to like our anti-mask nutters blathering on about 'rights'.
The border is closed and I'm pretty sure Trudeau has zero intention of opening it totally until MAYBE late Spring/Summer unless our numbers stabilise which of course means Joe Biden is elected, takes steps to try and reign COVID in and we get a decent TRUSTED & affordable, or better yet FREE, vaccine out for the public to get.

Took me decades, but I figured out long ago that us humans are not as smart as we think we are.
I see so many in my small town gathering in crowds maskless - almost always the younger generations = mid 30s and lower - especially schoolkids.
They seem oblivious to the fact that the young/healthy can catch and spread the virus, while never showing a single symptom.
We are in for a rude awakening methinks.
