On abortion.
I would not want abortion to be as freely available here [Northern Ireland] as it is in England and dont support the extension of the 1967 act
The group's leader Arlene Foster, speaking to the Guardian in 2016.
On climate change.
I dont care about Co2 emissions to be quite truthful...I still think climate change is a manmade con.

Northern Ireland is part of a single electricity market with the Republic of Ireland, it applies extensive checks on livestock coming from Britain and has distinct rules on the transport of hazardous waste pragmatic, uncontroversial measures which are not deemed threats to Northern Irelands place in the United Kingdom.
However, DUP leaders who gather in Belfast for the partys conference will thunder anew against different rules for Northern Ireland and Britain envisaged in the Brexit deal, branding them an existential threat to the union and therefore reason for the party to issue its own threat to pull the plug on Theresa Mays government.

I am from NI unionist background. It is all about the constitution - literally fuck every else. They will see the union in hell rather than deviate from their version of Gods plan.
