Brexiteer with diabetes says he would rather leave the EU than have insulin

Reporters from the BBC took to the streets of Birmingham to get the opinions of the public about Brexit as the 31 October deadline looms ever closer.

One man said revealed:

I'm a diabetic. I rely on insulin, but I still want to leave.

The reporter appeared shocked and responded:

If the insulin doesn't arrive, for you as a diabetic, you think that's a price worth paying?

The Brexiteer responded:

Yeah I do. Because we voted to leave.

We didn't vote for a deal. We didn't vote for anything, we voted to leave Europe, right? And that's all we want, right?

We're either a democracy, or we're not.

10. I've seen this sort of idiocy first hand

Often they genuinely believe that anything negative about the project to leave the EU is just "project fear", or they are just really spiteful people who assume that anything bad will just happen to groups in society they dislike.

I'm also coming across more people complaining about Brexshitter work colleagues, who appear to have chosen people like Nigel Farage as role models then wonder why they have alienated everyone who they have to work with by spouting extremist drivel 24/7.
