Four years ago today our friend Jo Cox was tragically murdered.

But Jo’s legacy lives on.

Now more than ever, we see how right Jo was that we have “far more in common with each other than things that divide us.”


4 years. I can remember thinking that my head would explode with rage when this happened. I wrote a piece on a previous blog on that day, that said in part that after the hand wringing and condolences and the recognition that the UK does have a far right problem, nothing would change - I think we can see the way Boris revved up the 'statute protectors' far right wankers proved me right. Jo Cox's legacy is a powerful one and maybe 4 years later things are really going to change, maybe now enough people realise that to be right means taking power away from those who would divide and attack us, just so they can keep their delusions of Empire alive. We will see.
