UK in Deeper Trouble - Joe Blogs
In this video I discuss the latest Inflation Data which shows that prices are now rising at the fastest rate for 10 months and that the current rate of inflation is 50% higher than the UK's target rate. This news comes shortly after it was revealed that ehe GDP growth for Q4 2024 was only 0.1% meaning that the UK Economy is now facing the prospect of Stagflation. Actual growth in 2024 was lower than originally forecast by the OBR and as a result UK tax receipts will be lower than forecast in the October Budget which also leaves the UK with a cash crisis which will mean either increasing taxes or cutting spending.
