How do I keep my rubber gasket on my blender container

from drying out/not cracking?

Would oil (olive oil, mineral oil, etc.) ruin the rubber or would it help?

Any suggestions please?

And I agree with them. Hand wash the gaskets, never in a dishwasher. The temps in a dishwasher are way too high.

the maker's web site usually can point you to a place to buy
or
if you know the replacement number, ebay and/or amazon usually has them.

I keep the booklets, forms, etc. of kitchen appliances, in a file, so I can re-order if something needs replacing.
