There’s a lot of chatter and concern about S.J. Res. 34, a pending resolution that will allow Internet Service Providers (ISPs) to record your activity and then sell that information. From what I have read, most people are focusing on your “web history.” This focus is harmful because there are many additional types of information that can reveal details about you, and you cannot solve this simply by using a VPN.

2. No, you just set it up on your PC. Here are a couple of good ones to investigate. Whatever, do not

use free ones, because they might track/log everything you do. Take a look at these. They are good.

3. I just turned OFF VPN in Win10 settings blindly, not knowing what VPN is, because I was searching

for solutions to getting a wireless printer to connect to the internet, and the router instructions said something (I still don't understand) about VPN.

Should I turn the Settings VPN back on?

4. IMO one should always try to run VPN. I don't know too much about Windows, haven't used it

for about the past 25 years.

5. Thanks. There are 3 options:

1) Add a VPN. 2) Allow on metered networks. 3) Allow on roaming.

I just turned ON #2. As for #3, I don't take the laptop out at all, basically use it as a desk/home thing, so don't need Roaming ON?

6. "Add a VPN" would be if you have a VPN service, like NordVPN or VyprVPN, for example. I

would never use a free one, it's hard to tell what they do with your information. Are you actually on a metered network?
