Can you make a video recording of what's going on on your computer screen?
Sort of a video version of Snip?

No reason it wouldn't work

(223 posts)It's the gaming options. The video result is called a "capture".
If you research "game bar" "windows 10" you will get what you need.
Default to start the gaming options is Windows + G if you want a look and try it.
Cautions:
- Try it out a few times -- once I somehow set it to not record sound and I was sorry!
- Watch out for time limits. Somehow mine closes down after 1 hour, but I have not researched to see if I can modify.
Wishing you success!
(My local observatory leader needed to show a bit of video without internet access, and I found the game bar.. He was pleased!)

(14,758 posts)I found the game bar easily, per your instructions. I recorded a youtube video 4 times (4 tabs). But when I went to the capture files, they were png files. That is, static images. I'm guessing the problem is that when I click "record" I get a message to the effect that "Sorry, this PC doesn't meet the hardware requirements for...." The icon for "capture" is a plain old camera. I just wanted to check that I'm out of luck. True?

(223 posts)here is a link to a tool that might fix. Mind you, I have never used this tool and I don't know if it will work.

I hope you get this resolved!
Edit: here is a page with some options (careful -- includes options for other operating systems):
