Any recs for a good Android cleaning app?

One that can recover all the space on my phone that's being hoarded by unknown entities? CCleaner doesn't seem to do the trick. TIA.

"Cleaning" apps and other "speed optimizers" usually run counter to the way Android is designed and actually slow down the phone.

If your phone seems to be losing space, it is most likely due to cache files from your web browser and social media apps. These can be deleted from
Settings > General > Apps

Lately there has been some chatter about some messaging apps taking up way too much space with their cache.

But still learning.

Unfortunately, this phone maxes at 32gb (micro SD) - which I suppose is because it only recognizes FAT32 format (vs exFAT).

I've read that keeping all apps updated helps save space, but it seems to me that just keeps eating more space.

I think rooting will be my next journey...
