(2,301 posts)A little research on them will tell you a lot, but you are looking for a lower priced unit and that will mean a little lower quality I would think. You can look on Craig's List also and maybe run into something but it would be a used unit and they can come with their own set of problems..Acer has been around for a while and although not top of the line they work ok.

(I've had none of the problems mentioned in the few complaints on Amazon)
It does come with Operating System in 'Windows 10 S Mode', which is not desirable.
But you can easily get rid of the S mode to go to a regular Windows.

Of the many laptops I've had from various jobs, this is still my favorite. $330 for the i5 $454 for the i7.
Win10pro 14" screen.
It's lightweight and easily transportable.

The one I bought has no bay for another drive, and the Wi-Fi + Bluetooth Is 4.2.
