itunes users please help this deadhead load up an ipod

Good morning!

I would like some help with the following:

I would like to take this live concert found at -
https://archive.org/details/gd1983-04-17.120026.aud.chasingwilma.flac24
and get it into my itunes library.

I have a dell pc with windows 7.

If anyone could help me I would appreciate it.

I have tried to do just that, but so far I have been unsuccessful. If you would be so kind could you walk my through the process step by step. If not, no worries.

I would recommend that you download the lossless.zip instead of the vbr.zip. Then use this free program:

http://sourceforge.net/projects/flacsquisher/

It will allow you to convert the flac files to mp3 which can then be easily imported into iTunes.

And thank you for asking. I had no idea there were Grateful Dead shows on archive.org for free download! I just loaded up my iPod with the June 1991 Giants Stadium performance which I was fortunate enough to have attended.
