Apple TV into USB port of television

My main HDMI port is broken on my old Vizeo. The other HDMI port is for my music gear. The tv has a USB port. Can I plug the Apple TV, not the new one, into the USB port through a HDMI to USB adapter? Does such adapter exist? And will it work? Thanks.

You can connect it to your good HDMI input on your TV, then switch between your HDMI inputs of your music gear and Apple TV. Plus, you'll have one left over.

There are plenty of USB to HDMI adapters, but no simple and cheap solution for converting HDMI to USB 3.0:

I purchased not that identical model but something similar. Should help me extend life of the tv because you know the other port will fail soon if I keep having to plug and unplug cables ....
