2. Leahy-D will be 82 years old in 2022. He is younger than Feinstein-CA, Grassley-IA, and Inhofe-OK.

Leahy-D can run for 1 more term.
If Leahy decides to retire,
The Democratic nominee will be-
TJ Donovan-D - State Attorney General- assuming he runs for the US Senate instead of Governor.
Tim Ashe-D- former President Pro Temp of Vermont state senate.
Mitzi Johnson-D- former Speaker of Vermont House of Representatives.

3. I honor these Dems who have served us so well for so long but....

....we need to get out of this gerontocracy and find good, capable and fresh faces. I do not know the possible replacements noted but have high hopes.
