Kamala Harris's VP running mate in 2024 or 2028?

If Harris becomes the Democratic nominee for President in 2024-
1)Sherrod Brown-OH.
Brown is a white male progressive Democrat from the industrial Midwest who served in US House for 14 years and US Senate for 18 years.
If Harris becomes the Democratic nominee for President in 2028.-
2)Mark Kelly-AZ.
Gabby Giffords will become 2nd lady of the US.
3)Jon Ossoff-GA.

Jon Ossoff- A young progressive white male Democrat from GA- a battleground state in the southeast. Ossoff can help Harris carry VA,NC,GA, and FL.
A Democrat will succeed Ossoff in the US Senate if Ossoff becomes VP.
Stacy Abrams will be Governor of GA from 2023- 2031. Abrams will appoint either-
US Rep. Nikema Williams.
US Rep. Lucy McBath.
US Rep. Carolyn Boudreaux.

We have a rich bench of solid choices for President Harris.

Ignoring for the moment the fact that it's far from a sure thing that Harris will be the nominee...

A VP partner for Harris would need to balance the ticket better than any of these three. A comparatively moderate governor from a key electoral state would be good. A senior senator would be next best.

It could be different if she's the incumbent... but probably not. If she becomes president before the nomination process, her then-current VP is likely a challenge (since anyone who can be approved by this senate is unlikely to make a great running mate).

If we have a firm hold on the Senate, I could see Kelly or Ossoff. Otherwise to me? Beto if he wins Texas in 2022 for 2028. This is just one woman's opinion-but I do hear that Roy Cooper is popular in N.C.

Could be the next Georgia. But I don't know all of his views on social issues so that may not work.

Democrats wouldn't want to select an heir apparent when too many of them (in the Senate anyway) consider themselves to be a future contender... and Republicans wouldn't want to tee up someone who would help beat them.

Add in the fact that there would be no Senate tie-breaker in that scenario... and we might not even get a VP.

Democratic VP nominee runs on the same ticket with the Presidential nominee.
The delegates at the Democratic convention approves the Democratic Presidential and Vice Presidential nominee.

The reason why I picked Ossoff is for the following reasons.
Ossoff is a young white male progressive Democrat from the Southeast.
Ossoff can help the Democrats carry GA- his home state, VA-the Democratic base in the south. FL- battleground state in the south that has a strong Jewish population.
GA will have a Democratic Governor during the 2028 US Presidential Election cycle. Abrams-D. A Democrat will replace Ossoff in the US Senate.

we were talking about a situation that does require senate approval......

It could be different if she's the incumbent... but probably not. If she becomes president before the nomination process, her then-current VP is likely a challenge (since anyone who can be approved by this senate is unlikely to make a great running mate).

let us just hope we do not have to deal with that.

In 2024. In 2028, Harris will be challenged by probably more candidates than ran in 2020. Harris’ stock has not exactly risen since taking office.

career with his attack on Joe Biden during one of the debates. Say what you will, but after that he had zero role in the convention and has zero role with the Biden admin. He is D. O. N. E
