McConnell says he will push for border wall funding
BY ALEXANDER BOLTON - 11/07/18 11:02 AM EST
Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) said on Wednesday that he will make an effort to get funding for President Trumps border wall in the lame-duck session, adding that he had already spoken to House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi (Calif.) earlier in the day.
Were certainly going to try help the president achieve what hed like to do with the wall and border security, McConnell told reporters in the Capitol.
Republican leaders had declined to make a concerted push for border wall funding before the midterm election, fearing it could lead to a possible government shutdown that would hurt Republicans.
But now that Trump has helped McConnell expand his Senate majority by as many as four seats, the GOP leader said on Wednesday he will make a push to fund the presidents top priority, even though it will likely be met with stiff Democratic opposition.
"That obviously will have be done on some kind of bipartisan discussion, he added.

Just another bullshit lie. Funding bills start in the House, and he knows it. Hey Mitch, I think you're going to be too busy, what with all the subpoenas coming your way about accepting Russian money. I'll come back in a while and ask how that wall thing is working for you.

And it will be a cold day in hell if the democratic house will fund it. Then McC will harp about how the dem's don't want to reach across the isle and work with reThugs... it's a ploy...

You really should try to get there before the caravan.
