Consumer Advice
Related: About this forumI hope this group will be used/more useful on DU3.
I suspect a lot of threads that belong here have been posted, in the past, to GD.

(18,194 posts)because, being in Australia, different laws apply. However this is a feature that I'm enjoying more and more about DU3 - seeing threads in groups I don't visit placed prominently on the Latest Threads page.

(147,837 posts)I didn't lock the thread, though. I think it's better to leave it open so people will see the suggestion.

(38,726 posts)Now. .I will share this with you...In the summer of 1969 a year into my teaching career...I took a day out from U.S. History that I had for the first time, and enjoyed teaching that..to teach something called.....................bait and switch from Consumer Reports..
There was some question as to whether or not that was...let's say...part of U.S. History.. but I did it. Most of the kids liked it but I had a couple of wise ass girls..who protested in the room that they wanted..U.S. History, and not "bait and switch" ...It was peacefull..they took 2 minutes and carried U.S. Flags around the room..that was it..
I kinda laugh now..Those wise off girls are now 60 years old. ?????????????????....do you suppose they ever came across bait and switch in their lives???
