(10,044 posts)I like my stove and didn't want to get a new one, but when we called GE about a part that could repair it, they had none...
After going to this site and easily finding the parts list for all GE stoves, I bumped into a control panel exactly like ours, even WITHOUT knowing our model number. We got the part from a dealer in town here, but couldn't have found it if I hadn't been messing around in the repair clinic site. When we called GE about it, they managed to locate it with the number we gave, but wanted twice as much as our local dealer. Repair clinic also had it for about the same price as our guy - almost half of GE....

This site seems very interesting. And it contains the variety of products that can be used for the repairing of the household items including manuals, parts lists etc.
