(3,187 posts)they arrived damaged I was told to just keep it and they'll issue credit -- this included things from curtain rods to toilets.

(3,187 posts)removed tub and installed a tiled shower ADA compliant, installed a 21 inch ADA compliant toilet, etc.
I don't need any of this right now but I did it now in case someday I do.
Fired 3 contractors, the fourth one, who did an excellent job, even got the money back I'd paid to the first contractor. I used that $$ to buy a grand piano!
All in all it took almost a year but now that it's over it was worth it.

Some of the biggest retail chains have reported in their latest earnings calls that they have too much inventory.
Economics 101 gives us the law of supply and demand.
Yet, the nightly news tells us we are being ravaged with inflation.
Somewhere, rattling around in this empty head of mine is a solution to this conundrum
its not quite getting fully into my pea-sized brain though. Maybe someone here can recommend something that would both a) reduce the retailers inventory AND b) reduce inflation.

And of course, people buy more when prices are low.
