Quote for the Day:
But feminists who have been working especially on the issues of reproductive freedom, and those few reporters who research the ultra-right wing, have been sending back warnings of this increasingly vicious campaign ever since the 1973 Supreme Court decisions on abortion. By 1974, for instance, Marion K. Sanders, a distinguished reporter for Harper's magazine, reported that "the analogy with Hitler's extermination program . . . has proved potent propaganda. The implication is that legal abortion is only a first step toward compulsory abortion for 'undesirables,' raising the specter of genocide for black people."

Yeah, I'm not perfect, much as I like to think. I caught it as soon as it posted and corrected it, but I knew someone would catch it.

(24,996 posts)I myelf have to fix more typos than I could ever count, so I can't complain when anybody laughs at my boo-boos.
Anyway, there's a lot of good info in your posts, and being a market-watcher myself, I appreciate them!

(18,060 posts)I always laugh at mine, because I'm such a hard-ass on others. And grammar. And punctuation!
But thank you for the compliment on the thread. Mostly it's just filling in the form, but I do try to have fun with the daily quotes and provide some food for thought.

(47,748 posts)Big banks will pull the plug on tech soon. Speculative plays and value plays are popular this week. Gurus chiming small cap and Asia, and a little Europe. MU Micron has moved about 40 points in a few weeks.
Soon I will need more computers to keep track of all this nonsense.
