1. The genius of community

Nursing homes are an abomination to human nature. Isolating money farms with cemetery fields, not unlike the prison model we use in the war on poverty. They are only necessary because community was replaced by profit and the industrial age stripped old age of its meaning and place. Put day care in the nursing home. Put the nursing home in the mall. Put the mall in the middle of town and encircle it with parks and other living spaces within walking distance of all services. Then knock down every unnecessary wall and plant a tree.
