you defeat the goal of the test.
If it's a good goal (doubtful, based on what the resulting actions are):
you hurt everyone who takes the test.
If it's a bad goal (defunding programs, firing experienced teachers, putting kids in the "dumb" box for throwing away) then:
cheating may be the sanest, most intelligent thing you can do for yourself (ethics) and the children (consequences).
That cartoon makes about as much sense (and shows as much intentional bias and deception) as any standardized test I've EVER taken.
Be careful what you test for. You may find it in yourself.
