It's my right to pollute and hurt myself.

Propane and natural gas appliances are bad for the environment and bad for indoor air quality, leading to medical problems for residents. There are several.good reasons to phase them out and replace them with heat pumps, induction cook tops, etc. But the MAGA crowd isn't having it. They'll give up their gas stoves when the liberal tree huggers pry them from their cold dead fingers. The Republicans demand local control except when it means something they don't like. Then they want a state law that makes local control illegal.

The right to kill your children with diseases that have vaccines but not enforceable anymore if they get their way.

Mandatory school prayer and Bible study limiting the right of other parents to raise 'their' children as they see fit.

If your actions hurt others (by polluting their air, by encouraging “global warming” etc.) then you have exceeded your rights.

Let’s step outside the question of global warming for a moment. Do you have a right to burn down your own house? (Perhaps.) But, if the flames from your house spread to mine we’ve got a problem.
